15-ton laboratory Hydraulic Pellet Press is a compact, elegant and robust machine, typically used by R&D & QC labs for various pelletizing applications for IR/XRF, etc.
The high pressure pumping unit supplies hydraulic fluid to the up-stroking ram of the cylinder. This causes the ram to rise steadily and positively in the upward direction. As a result, the pressure is applied to any object placed between the screw and piston top plate.
We offer a hydraulic press that produces a force of about 15 tons to make a high-quality 13 mm pallet used for IR/FTIR/XRF solid sampling. Our range of hydraulic press can be customized as per customer requirements. These are appreciated for precision functioning and durability.

Evacuable KBr Die Set is used to form pellets/circular discs for IR-FTIR Solid Sampling /Analytical Purpose.
Most commonly used die is of 13 mm dia. pellet size. 13 mm KBr Die consists of a two-piece outer die, tungsten carbide mirror finished punches (envils), pusher rod and pellet removal ring. Die is fitted with a nozzle for evacuation ( if required ).
The die is manufactured from hardened stainless steel and can be easily dismantled for cleaning purposes.
The entire set is enclosed in a velvetted teak-wood box , for safety and durability. The Die can be subjected to a Max. Load of 15 Tons.

The Automatic Standard 40 Ton Pellet Press
enables the simple interchangeability of 13, 32, 35, 40 and 50 mm die set size options for applications requiring different pressed pellet diameters for x-ray analysis by one or more instruments. This feat is easily performed through the use of a specially designed platen that positions and supports the dies in concentric counterbores corresponding to die diameters. The Pellet Press die sets are self-centered and self-aligned below a threaded arbor with a large knurled knob. Adjustments to the arbor heights are performed to account for variations in the height of the die plunger which is mostly attributed to different volumes of samples introduced into the die and variations in their densities. The use of compressible aluminum Pellet Cup briquetting cups together with the hand-held Powder Sample Compactor are useful accessories to fill and pre-pack the Pellet Cup prior to the briquetting operation. The sample pellets exhibit more uniformity in compacted densities thickness, and resistance to the development of stress and strain fissures. The aone Press is easily operated through a touch-screen LCD display that enables the operator to program all operational parameters, store them to various methods for future recall.

The evacuable pellet dies available from aone are manufactured in a wide range of diameters for both infrared and XRF applications. The standard dies, made from 440 C stainless steel, offer an ideal solution for preparing sample discs/pellets prior to analysis. However, care must be taken where extremely hard, corrosive or irregular shaped samples are to be compressed, as stainless steel dies and pellets can be damaged.
