N-propyl bromide is a powerful solvent, for cleaning and degreasing meets or exceeds the requirements. It has the same characteristics and similar physical properties as other halogenated solvents such as 1, 1, 1-trichloroethylene.
N-propyl bromide has no flash point and has a low ozone-depleting potential. It is essentially 1,1,1-trichloroethylene without an adverse effect on the environment. N-propyl bromide can be used for vapor degreasing and rapid drying.
