Vacuum Manifold SPE
Vacuum Filtration Manifold is used primarily in microbiological, Sterility and analytical procedures that involve collecting a particulate (bacteria, precipitate, etc.) from a liquid suspension. They are particular designed and produced for several samples filtrate at the same time.

SPE is a form of chromatography, and, as with other chromatographic techniques, control of flow rate is critical for maintaining reproducible extractions. Unlike other vacuum manifolds, the Visiprep system contains a patented valve system that allows for precise flow control through each SPE tube via rotating, independent, screw-type valves situated in each port within the manifold cover. Visiprep vacuum manifolds allow you to process up to 12 (12-port version) or 24 (24-port version) SPE samples simultaneously. Spacing between ports are slightly smaller on the 24-port versions than the 12-port versions so consideration of tube sizes is recommended.

The Top Plate vacuum manifold consists of a clear acrylic top allowing for easier inspection of flow rates during SPE 96-well plate processing. The polypropylene base offers excellent chemical resistance while a single remote vacuum gauge/bleed valve controls flow through all the wells.
A Top Plate 96-Well Starter Kit is available to analysts new to 96-well SPE technology. Included with the Starter Kit is Top Plate Vacuum Manifold and sample units of key accessory items necessary for 96-well SPE.

Stable base made of enamelled iron and with stainless steel braces with rubber protection. The equipment is designed with a distance between each place that facilitates the access and handling of the filter funnels. The vacuum manifold is made of borosilicate glass 3.3.
Each one of the place has a glass stopcock with 90° closing that allows to work independently in each station or in series. The outlet tube of the vacuum manifoldend is 10 mm diameter.
The filter holder is connected to the vacuum manifold by means of a rubber stopper. The connection of the funnel to the filter holder is adjusted with a clamp.
The reference includes 13 elements:

- 3 units 300 ml funnels; made glass of borosilicate 3.3
- 3 units filter holders for 47 mm diameter membrane filters; made glass of borosilicate 3.3

The vacuum manifold can be disassembled into parts with caution and proceed to its cleaning taking care not to expose the glass parts to sudden changes in temperature. Glass parts can be clear by autoclaved except for plastic and rubber parts.
The vacuum circuit is made by connecting the vacuum manifoldend to the vacuum pump by means of a rubber tube connected to the 10 mm diameter olive ramp. The 47 mm membrane filter must first be placed in each filter holder.
